Worship Tools

1. Download and install, but do not run, the software from https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/presenter
2. After you receive your email invitation install and start the program and enter the code from the email
3. After logging in, click the Settings gear icon in the upper right and choose Settings
   • Defaults tab
     1. Default Slide Aspect Ratio – 4×3
     2. Default Bible Translation – ESV (scroll to the bottom of the list to find Imported Bibles)
     3. Put a Check in these boxes
        1. Scripture Reference
        2. Title Slide
           1. Add title…
           2. Include artist…
           3. Include CCLI #…
        3. Background Video/Image Scale – Scale to fit screen
        4. Be sure to click Save at the bottom when done
   • Footer tab
     1. CCLI License is 2970730
     2. Footer
        1. Footer location – Bottom, left corner
        2. Show footer on – First slide only
        3. leave the rest
        4. Be sure to click Save at the bottom when done
   • Bibles tab
     1. In the Cloud XML Bibles section, Download & Install the ESV and optionally the NASB
   • Screen Configuration tab
     1. Resolution – 800×600
   • Connections tab
     1. Check Automatically report songs used in WorshipTools to CCLI

• On the left click “Add Cue”
• Select Scripture
• Select the passage you are using by filling out the following
  1. Book: The book of the bible you are reading from
  2. From: The first field is the chapter the second is the verse
  3. To: The first field is the chapter the second is the verse
• Set Template to Default
• Slide break can be set in any configuration
• Reference should remain Top
• Translation should be Show

• On the left click “Add Cue”
• Select Lyrics
• Search for the song you are adding
  1. if it is a song we use it will show up
  2. if the song is not appearing
     1. click Songs on the top of the screen
     2. search for the desired song
     3. it will appear in the section SongSelect
     4. click that song
     5. click import
     6. this song will be then be available to be added to the cue list

• Sometimes we will need to modify a song, primarily to change the breaks for readability
• Open the song you wish to modify
  1. this can be done from the Songs tab
     1. search for the song
     2. click on the song
  2. this can be done from a cue list
     1. click edit cue in the Top Right
     2. click Edit “{Song Name}”

• If you are wanting to split a slide into multiple slide
  1. Click “New Slide” top right of the screen
  2. Right click the new slide which will currently be name “Slide {some number}”
  3. Click Rename and rename it to the original name and a postfix letter
     1. e.g. Spliting Verse 1 the second slide would be named “Verse 1b”

• If you need to set the order for the song (This should not be done for one off slide orders)
  1. Check “Set custom slide order”
  2. Add the slides in the desired order

If a worship leader uses an arrangement other than one we currently use, right-click the song, duplicate it, and add their name to the Artist field in parenthesis like (Name)

Here are some guidelines from the Proclaim Website.

• Limited lines per slide: As a rule of thumb, try to limit slides to 2-4 lines, 5 at most.
• Sans Serif font: Stick to san-serif fonts. Some common examples of san-serif fonts are Arial, Calibri, and Verdana. An example of a non-serif font is Times Roman, Georgia, and Bookman.
• White text over black: The projector’s brightest light is white, so white will always be the most visible color.
• Lose the labels: We prefer a good arrangement of slides instead of writing out the labels like Verse, Chorus, Bridge and Instructions like Repeat 2x and so on. We prefer the worship leader to dictate the flow of the song as opposed to the slides themselves.
• No punctuation: We prefer a clean looking slide and usually don’t use any punctuation. No commas, exclamation points, or periods. Since the melody usually dictates the flow of the words, there is not much need for punctuation. Use your judgment as this is personal preference more than a rule but we prefer the cleaner look.
